Green Tea | Mid-Century Japanese Fusion | Styled Shoot with Twig and Arrow

I messaged the beautiful Mindy from Twig and Arrow a few months ago, I had just moved into the temporary natural light studio and I was excited to get shooting. I left the creative design to the specialist and could not be more amazed with what Mindy came up with. This fresh, clean, slightly retro Japanese inspired bridal shoot was put together in about 5 days.
Grace from Sweet Bakery made the perfect cupcakes, Miranda Millen came along to do hair and make up on our stunning model Grace Tredrea, and Jen from Paperswan Bride provided the gorgeously gorgeous dress. I love love love working with these amazing girls, and working on creative projects full stop.
This winter I’m planning on putting together even more crazy awesome styled shoots, and I’m looking for new wedding and baby ware vendors to work with – leave me a comment if you’d like to be involved!

Riahn | Tween Portraits

I kinda love the idea of photographing kids – young girls especially – just before they hit their teens, in that brief period where they are still wild and full of confidence, and haven’t discovered their self-consciousness yet. This age seem to LOVE the studio photography experience too, it doesn’t take much to bring out their inner model.
This is Riahn – nine.
She really has to try hard to keep the smile off her face.

Trelise + Chiquita | Tween Portraits

When I first moved into my studio, I never really envisioned using the wood wall, nor the studio lighting – we are lucky to have such an abundance of natural light. I decided to have a little play around this morning, with some beautiful tween models. I wanted these portraits to be a little darker, something more moody, sorta arty, rather than your average happy smiley family portrait. Trelise is only-just-9 and she is sassy as hell, confident, lively and of course stunningly gorgeous. Just quietly I think her Mum and Dad are going to have a great time with her when she hits 16!

Baby Billie | Sitting Pretty 6-10 Month Baby Portrait Sessions

A perfectly pure, white on white, adorabubble baby shoot is pretty much my favourite thing ever. Nothing but bubba, all giggling all wiggling big-eyed babyness.

Little Billie Willow is 9 months old, she came along to my studio last week to model for my new promo. She bought along her special bunny and a gorgeous outfit that her great grandmother made for her mummy as a baby.

I’m keen to shoot a lot more beautiful babies at this precious age so I am introducing my new SITTING PRETTY baby mini session special! For a great price you can have a short 30 minute midweek portrait session of just your baby, packaged up with a set of digital files and a selection of prints, and the option to upgrade at a viewing session. I have lots of soft neutral props and some cute wee clothes at the studio, and you can bring along your babies favourite toys or some special outfits too.

These sitting pretty minis are aimed at babies who have just learnt to sit unassissted, they might be getting to the standing with assistance stage but they’re not walking yet. About 6-10 months is such a cute cute cute age to have portraits taken.

Perfect for those with babies suffering from second or third child syndrome and who may be yet to feature in your albums much (compared with the first born!), or as a catch up for little newborn clients who have rapidly grown into full blown chubby bubbies.
